THRIVE AT UNIVERSITY PREP
Thrive @ UPrep is a Christian high school club and a ministry of Detroit Cru at University Prep Academy. Whether you are just beginning to explore who Jesus is, growing in your walk with Him or wanting to discover His purpose for your life, Thrive @ UPrep will come alongside you to help you continue to grow. Right now, Thrive @ UPrep is helping people at UPA to connect with a mentor, discover their purpose, live that out in a fun-filled community, and help students grow in the three most important areas of their lives through connecting students with college students from Wayne State University:
Physically - We care for students physically and want to provide a space after school where students can feel comfortable, as well as provide them with some snacks right after school.
Mentally - In addition to the academics of school we want to be a place where students are encouraged to achieve what they are capable of and guide them in their next steps whether that is sophomore year at UPA, attending college or entering the workforce.
Spiritually - We care for students spiritually through a one-on-one mentorship program with Wayne State and through weekly after school discussions about life and worldview through a bible study.
Cru is open to everyone, whether they grew up in the Church or have never been to a service before.
