Cru is a community of movements helping people understand and experience a relationship with Jesus.
We envision movements where every student & faculty can truly belong, where they can share their real story and that story is met with empathy. They are pointed to our hope in Jesus and they can do good work with others.
Who We Are
We desire for each student & faculty to belong to a community where they can grow in a relationship with Jesus. We are passionate about developing these communities everywhere so everyone knows someone who truly follows Jesus. While these movements might look different depending on the campus and cultural context, three things define these movements. They are places where people have an opportunity to:
- KNOW Jesus
- GROW in a relationship with him
- GO help others do the same
We are a Team of Teams
Our Portland team has multiple teams of staff, volunteers and trusted partners working with college and high school students as well as faculty members. We care about each community on campus, so we have various movements to help meet the needs of each community.
Cru exists to build spiritual movements of evangelism and discipleship everywhere so that everyone knows someone who truly follows Jesus
Epic Movement's mission is to invite, integrate, and send Asian Americans to reach the world for Christ
The Impact Movement equips Black students to become disciples of Jesus Christ who integrate their faith into every aspect of life
Cru High School is here to help teenagers and their families tackle the issues of life
Athletes in Action is an international sports organization focused on equipping athletes, coaches, and sport-minded individuals to grow in their relationship with Jesus and multiply their life into others.
Destino is raising up a generation of Latino leaders to change the world
Faculty Commons resources communities of Christian professors across the US and around the world to live out their faith on campus
Bridges International is a caring community of Christ-followers committed to serve, promote social connections and engage in spiritual conversations with international students so that students become leaders internationally.
