Come spend the summer in the Sierra Nevada mountains! Together we will encounter the Lord, share the love of Jesus, experience Christ-centered community, and expand our vision for the campus and the world.
Our motto is, “What happens at Tahoe doesn’t stay in Tahoe!” The summer mission in Tahoe is all about reaching campuses back home. You will grow and develop in your walk with God and learn to be an influence to those back on campus.
The 2023 Lake Tahoe Summer Mission is open to both quarter and semester school students. The projected cost of the mission is $3700 which includes housing, all events and growth materials and most meals (breakfast and dinner five days per week). Transportation to and from the summer mission is not included in this cost.
The class of Tahoe 2023 will be comprised of approximately 60 students from around the country, as well as up to 10 student staff/interns, and 25 full time staff predominantly from the Greater Northwest and the Southeast. We have a partnership with Lifelines, the outdoor ministry of Cru and they bring some incredible character development and adventure trips around the Tahoe basin.
Summer Mission housing is located just west of the city of South Lake Tahoe, CA (elevation 6260′) within a short walk of the shores of Lake Tahoe. All students are required to have a full-time job (30+ hours a week). Due to long-standing relations with South Lake Tahoe businesses, most students are hired within the first week or so and many before they even arrive. What a great opportunity this summer to trust God with big things!
