Pereira is the capital and the heart of this infamous coffee region and is also known as the “pearl of Otún”. Pearl, because of the incredible beauty that surrounds the city.
There are over 75,000 college students within the 3 cities in this coffee paradise. Most college students come from other parts of Colombia and are the first generation in their family to study at a university. They come with an already instilled passion to learn and to leave college to be a difference maker back in their hometown and in the world. Imagine the influence these students can have for the Gospel if they are captivated by Jesus while in college.
