Portugal is home to some of the friendliest people in the world. Portuguese students love to sit and talk for hours and show you their favorite places, whether that be exploring tiny alleys in the oldest part of the city, oceanfront views, or eating the local famous custard tart at their neighborhood bakery. You may even stumble upon a castle or two.
Weekday afternoons are spent on campuses meeting students during their last weeks on campus for the semester. We also partner in events organized by Porto staff, students and partnering churches. Multiple evenings a week are reserved for opportunities to continue to build relationships with students we meet through continual meetups.
We desire to learn from and encourage believing students with reaching out on campus, creating many opportunities to learn about Portuguese culture and being a part of how God is at work there. With only 1-2% of the population being Bible believing Christians, there is a great opportunity to share the Gospel. Come join us!
