God in Action Across our Campuses

March 9, 2026

Cru disciples equipped as future family disciplers

“One thing that Camp Unravel impressed upon me was how important the parent-child relationship is to God. After the camp, I was convicted of the need to work on my strained relationship with my parents. I asked them out for a meal and thanked them for the years of taking care of me. It really moved me when my mom told me, ‘I have missed you.ʼ Now, I make time to eat dinner with my parents at least once a week, no matter how busy I am.ˮ– Shaun Lai, NTU Cru student

From 8-10 January 2026, around 60 students across National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore Management University (SMU), LASALLE College of the Arts and Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) gathered for Camp Unravel. The camp invited students to dive deep into restoring familial relationships and exploring the impact their families of origin have had on their lives.

A partnership with Focus on the Family Singapore, Camp Unravel cast a vision for healthy family units and helped students begin releasing the generational baggage they carry, so they may fulfil Godʼs intent for future generations.

Campus chapters strengthened by Godʼs favour and grace

Since the pandemic, our campus chapters have seen movement-building momentum gradually gaining pace. Unabashed in our commitment to Win Boldly, Build Deeply and Send Urgently— even amid the rise of the anxious generation—our student-led movement grew from around 300 students to over 400 students between 2022 and 2025. All glory to God!

Notably, Ngee Ann Polytechnic Cru (NP Cru) doubled in strength, with heightened engagement in spiritual multiplication and cross-cultural missions. One highlight was the recent Hear Me Out outreach session where seven pre-believers attended and had their questions on the Christian faith answered.

Winning boldly relationally

Carrying this evangelistic fervour forward, NUS Cru partnered Varsity Christian Fellowship during mOSAic Festival to run a booth in University Town on 4 February 2026.

In just a few hours, more than 100 NUS students from diverse faiths, cultures and philosophical backgrounds were engaged in meaningful spiritual conversations.

“Iʼm grateful that at NUS, we have this rare opportunity to share the Christian faith openly, and that many students—from struggling Christians to non-believing seekers—are still searching for God.ˮ– Elijah Gan, NUS Cru staff

Over at NTU Cru, since late January 2026, God has been bringing 10 newcomers each week to Alpha, with half being prebelievers. SMU Cru also hosted 16 pre-believers for their third Alpha run, in partnership with St. Andrewʼs Cathedral, alongside a Chinese New Year outreach where many international students heard the Gospel.
