  • Be a Thriver

Our tribe is proudly known as “Thrivers”. A thriver is proactive and courageous in seeking support and self-development in order to grow and power through life’s difficult periods and live a meaningful life.

We champion a support-seeking culture. We aim to reach out and connect with young persons who are going through mental and emotional challenges, and help them heal and overcome the stigma of mental illness and other forms of trauma.

    Empowered by advocacy

Every young person deserves to live their life to the fullest potential— happiness, personal goals, passion and purpose. But life doesn’t always have an easy trail. As vulnerable individuals, we grow up with unresolved issues that can hinder our ability to thrive, and which could be carried through adulthood.

ThriveSg wants you to know that there is no shame in seeking the support you need. We invite all young persons aged 17 to 25 years old to discover our joyful tribe and experience a journey to learning, healing and empowerment through our transformational activities:

    What we offer:

    Young Adult Counselling

ThriveSg offers affordable young adult counselling led by professionally-trained counsellors. Our community provides safe and brave spaces to talk about difficult and sensitive issues. We’re here to listen and guide your way into healing. Volunteer counsellors are either Masters-trained, SAC registered, or interns undergoing their Masters program. All our volunteers are carefully screened through personality assessments & interviews before selection, and are well supported by clinical supervision from senior clinicians.

    Emotional Coaching

Emotional coaching to help you to grow in self-awareness of your emotions so you can learn to manage and regulate your emotions in a healthy way.

    Life Mentoring

A mentor in whom you can dialogue with to support you in navigating difficult life transitions, work challenges, and relational issues.

    Self-Development Workshops

ThriveSg promotes personal growth and emotional wellness through various workshops that educate on how to navigate the issues of mental illness, trauma, shame, grief and other negative experiences. We have successfully conducted several workshops, discussions, and conversations about emotional resilience and mental health facilitated by Pamelah Koh, founder and Lead Counsellor of ThriveSg and invited advocates and resource persons.

    Volunteerism

We invite individuals who believe in the advocacies of ThriveSg and want to make an impact on the lives of the young generation. We have volunteer opportunities that you might want to get involved with to help the young people and our community.
