Tanzania -Dar es Salaam

Sponsored by Cru High School

Tanzania has some of Africa’s most famous landscapes: The Great Rift Valley, the Serengeti, Mount Kilimanjaro and Lake Victoria. We will be in the city of Dar es Salaam and despite being close to the equator, the temperature is cool and the humidity is low because of the slopes of Mount Meru. Tanzania’s population is multicultural with Masai people, indigenous Bantu, Arab-Tanzanian and Indian-Tanzanians. There is also a small White European and white American minority population. Religions of the Dar es Salaam people are Christian, Jewish, Muslim, and Hindu.

The city has major universities and many government high schools. Although a majority of Tanzanians claim to be Christians, but many have misconceptions about their faith and how to live in the power of the Holy Spirit. We are trusting God to launch and grow movements in Dar es Salaam and Tanzania. Will you join us to reach high school and college students on a year long STINT?
