Bosnia and Herzegovina - Mostar

Sponsored by Open to All / Sponsored by Cru ministries in FL

Situated on the edge of the Dinaric Alps, Mostar, a city in Bosnia and Herzegovina, is a quaint, beautiful, & welcoming city. The warm & friendly people of Mostar love meeting visitors, and enjoy hanging out interacting at restaurants and coffee shops around town. After centuries of tumultuous history, however, including a civil war from 1992-1995, Mostar is a city in need of hope. The families of university students we are reaching in Mostar, from both Muslim & Catholic backgrounds, have experienced ethnic division and terrible atrocities, and they desperately need the healing and redemption of Jesus that we offer. It is estimated that in this country of 3.2 million people, 0.1% have a genuine relationship with Christ. The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. We are trusting the Lord to raise up laborers for the harvest in Bosnia and Herzegovina and re-establish a long term ministry presence in this divided yet beautiful country. "How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, 'How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!'” (Romans 10:14-15)
