Transformational Prayer (TrP) is an invitation to deeper inner healing, moving beyond simply asking God to change our circumstances. It addresses the painful, unresolved wounds and false beliefs from our past that often hinder our growth in Christ and impact our relationships and ministry. As Psalm 71:20 reminds us, God restores our lives even through bitter experiences.
TrP creates a safe, caring space for believers to invite God to search their hearts, recognize underlying emotions, confess lies, renounce false beliefs, extend forgiveness, and receive His truth and love in return. Through this process, deep struggles become pathways toward freedom, wholeness, and Christlikeness—fulfilling the promise of Luke 4:18–19 to proclaim freedom to the oppressed.

TrP has profoundly impacted our local ministry. Following the inaugural Transformational Prayer conference in August 2023, attended by 32 regional staff, the three of us from Singapore came away with a vision to expand this experience to more of our staff. We were thrilled when seven additional staff joined the following year. Across the region, 63 participants completed Level 1, with 21 equipped as facilitators through Level 2 training.
By 2025, we successfully organized our own TrP conference for 32 Cru Singapore Staff, anchored by seven local and four overseas staff facilitators. This momentum has continued, and by March 2026, 13 more staff have completed Level 2 and are now working towards certification as facilitators.
This multiplication and transformation of lives is a profound joy. God is stirring hearts and cultivating a deep desire for lasting breakthrough and healing. Over the past few months, we have been blessed to extend this ministry not only to our staff but also to our campus students.
