On 5 April 2025, WOW MOM hosted an outreach event—Glowing Skin, Beautiful Me—which reminded attendees how deeply God cares about the hearts of women. What began as a casual gathering around skincare and self-care turned into a powerful time of connection, encouragement, and encountering God together.

We welcomed 30 women—a mix of guests, WOW MOM mentors, Cru staff, and our guest speaker, Lily Kew, founder of Kew Organics. We are thankful to God for answering our prayer with a full turnout, as every registered participant showed up.
Lily shared openly about her journey: how she went from battling self-doubt to becoming a business owner, and how discovering her worth in God transformed her life. Her story of healing, faith, and purpose struck a chord with many. What unfolded that day was more than a gathering; it was a meaningful time where women were reminded that true beauty begins with a radiant identity rooted in Christ.
Participants had a hands-on experience in learning to care for their skin
Amy, who attends a WOW MOM group, brought her friend, Mai. Over dinner that evening, she shared her testimony and even had the chance to pray with Mai for her father and family. Seeds of faith were sown.
Jasmine, worn out from caregiving, had almost decided not to invite anyone. But with a little encouragement, she took a step of faith and invited her old classmate, Estella. Estella accepted the invitation, and after the event, shared how much she enjoyed the session. She also expressed interest in joining future gatherings, or hosting something similar with her friends.
We are deeply encouraged by how God used this event to open hearts, plant spiritual seeds, and affirm each woman’s worth in Him. This is more than a onetime gathering—it is the beginning of many ongoing conversations and relationships.
To God be the glory as we continue to walk in obedience and boldness. We continue to pray for the women who came—that what was planted will grow into faith, healing, and hope.
