I first noticed that my older son had speech and learning delay when he was about 3 years old. His struggles manifested as temper tantrums and difficult behaviours from a young age as he could not express himself well.
My relationship with my mother-in-law changed drastically with the presence of my three kids. With the arrival of each kid, it seemed more strained and I felt more belittled.

"When I became a mother, I got too entangled in looking after my family. I felt spiritually worn out. Joining a WOWMOM group in 2017 helped me to realign my priorities by putting Jesus first.
I never found any solace or security at home. As young as 9 years old, my relationship with my dad had been distant especially after he left the family for 3 months due to gambling debts. Witnessing my mum crying almost daily left a permanent scar in me.
My mum and I had a very close relationship. During the year when my mum fought against cancer, I was beside her everyday, 24/7. I lost my mum to cancer on the day that my firstborn turned 4-month-old.
Before 2020, WOW MOM used to host physical meetings for Mother’s Day Celebrations. Our purpose was to share the Gospel to our mommy-friends. Since COVID hit our shores, it became impossible to host any of these outreaches.
