Job Description

We are looking for a driven social media strategist to help increase engagement with our stakeholders across the different platforms.  

In the FamilyLife Ministry, we believe that every family is important. God is able to transform families and marriages no matter what the current or past circumstances may be. Our team is here to provide transferrable, scripture-based support for couples and families at every stage of their marriage and family life.

Technical skills aside, our social media strategist should be someone who agrees with these values. He/she should have a clear goal of being part of a ministry that enriches marriages and families.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute social media strategy through daily content generation across social media sites
  • Create, edit, publish and share content (original text, images, video, or requesting permission from FamilyLife Global) that builds meaningful connections and encourages engagement from community members
  • Maintain and optimise FamilyLife webpage and social media platforms to increase content visibility and accessibility to information
  • Create event calendars and sync to content schedules
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
  • Collaborate with other staff (e.g. Corporate Communications) to manage FamilyLife branding, identify key players and coordinate actions
  • Be at all FamilyLife Singapore events to gather stories

As a Christian organisation, employees will be required to attend work meetings and Christian fellowship meetings, which start and end with religious activities such as prayers, words of worship and bible sharings. Non-Christian employees are not required to participate in the religious activities.

Requirements

  • Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents only
  • At least a Diploma in any discipline 
  • Passionate in helping people grow in their relationship with God and find vocational clarity, significance, meaning and purpose
  • Enjoy training and interacting with people
  • Experienced in facilitating small groups
  • Coaching and mentoring skills
  • Able to work on some Saturdays and weekday evenings
