FUEL is a five-month internship programme from August to December specially designed for those seeking God's direction after graduation or during a career transition. Partner with God and allow Him to use your skills, expertise, talents and passions as you continue to discern His call for you!
FUEL exposes you to local ministry as well as cross-cultural missions with coaching from senior staff workers in Cru Singapore. The programme will also equip you in spiritual formation and practical skills relevant to both full-time ministry and the marketplace.
Highlights:
*FUEL interns will be paid a monthly stipend, but they may support-raise a set additional amount if they wish to. Support-raising is compulsory for all cross-cultural mission trips.
What each track comprises:
A typical day for FUEL interns comprises NST lessons in the morning, followed by ministry activities according to their chosen ministry track. Ministry time and schedule is flexible and may change day-to-day.

"I was least looking forward to this Seoul mission trip as I had no experience with campus evangelism and feared speaking to strangers about Christ. But God works in mysterious ways and this trip became the catalyst for affirming His call on my life to make disciples of all nations.
"I appreciated the ample missions and evangelism training provided before the trip, and I was very moved to see the love and resilience that our hosts – the staff and student volunteers of Korea Campus Crusade for Christ (KCCC) – had for every student they met. My teammates, now colleagues and close friends, also made the trip a real joy, patiently encouraging and nudging me as I stepped out of my comfort zone to reach the students in Korea.
"It may sound like an exaggeration that this trip was life-changing, but it truly shifted my perspective on missions and ignited a passion to reach the broken and lost!"

"My internship with Cru was a defining experience for me as I explored full-time ministry. Through NTU Cru, I experienced campus ministry firsthand and saw not only the impact of its programmes, but also how God was personally working in the lives of the students and deepening their faith. What stood out to me most was the community — a group of students passionate about God and eager to serve Him through campus evangelism, weekly gatherings, worship and intentional relationships. Walking alongside them and witnessing their love for God and one another deepened my conviction about the importance and urgency of campus ministry. I came to realise that reaching and discipling the next generation does not only happen within the walls of the church, but can begin right on campus."

"My FUEL internship fundamentally changed how I understand faith. I learnt that spiritual growth, creativity and real community are all intertwined. As I worked with Christian artists like musicians, visual artists and designers, I saw my own talents in a new light and was reminded to use my gifts more to serve others. This internship with Crea didn't just teach me skills — it changed how I relate to God, our Designer and Creator, and my understanding of what He has created me to do.
"I also had the opportunity to go on a two-week mission trip to Chiang Mai, where we used music and the arts to connect with children in an orphanage. It was a great way to wrap up my internship — being away from everything familiar stripped away the noise of everyday life and pulled me closer to God and my team in ways I hadn't expected."
