STATEMENT OF FAITH

Founded on Scripture. Lived Out Globally.

Cru affirms the Bible as God’s inerrant authority, the triune God, the deity and saving work of Jesus Christ, humanity’s sinfulness, and salvation by grace through faith through the work of the Holy Spirit. It teaches the Spirit’s ongoing work in believers, the nature of the Church, eternal destinies, and the promised return of Christ. From these beliefs, Cru exists to win, build, and send Christ-centered, multiplying disciples worldwide.

Faith is a dynamic, personal journey. Every day thousands of Cru missionaries walk with people around the world to live out their faith and discover Jesus. That’s why we’re committed to journeying together — providing the resources, community and support you need to thrive. With decades of global impact, our mission is to empower you to follow Jesus and live out your faith authentically and passionately wherever God has you.

Cru is the U.S. arm of Campus Crusade for Christ International.

Our Guiding Principles

Faith

This means keeping our focus on God, not ourselves. Knowing we can do nothing apart from Him (John 15:5), we depend on His Spirit daily, yielding to His leading and living with wholehearted devotion.

Growth

This value commits us to the maturity of the people God has entrusted to us. We develop multiplying, caring leaders through true discipleship—pursuing lasting character change in ourselves and others, both individually and together.

Fruitfulness

We measure not just our activity, but our impact—seeing people come to Christ, grow in Christ, and carry His message to the world. As faithful stewards of what God has entrusted to us, we seek the greatest return for His purposes.
