A Stirring That Couldn’t Be Ignored
Mary struggled with high school pressures and life’s uncertainties, which led the young student to search for a deeper meaning in her journey. One night, she found it during a meeting hosted by the Great Commission Movement of Ghana (as Cru® is known there).
A stirring began in her that she says she couldn’t ignore.
Mary recognized that life isn’t just about achieving success or seeking happiness. It’s about surrendering to God’s plan. “I always wondered if there was more to life, but I never understood what that ‘more’ really was,” she says.
That night, Mary accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior, and she says her outlook on everything has changed. “I realized that Jesus not only offers forgiveness for my past mistakes but also a new perspective on life — one filled with purpose, peace, and hope.”
After reading through the Bible and the follow-up material given to her, Mary says she knows God has a plan for her. Her heart is filled with joy, knowing she is loved and accepted by him, and she no longer lives with fear or uncertainty about her future.
