1. WATCH VIDEO #1
Watch Video 1: “ Soularium™ : Getting Started” with a friend, mentor or small group.
2. ASK AND DISCUSS
How do you know when you’re genuinely listening to another person?
The creators of Soularium™ said: “It’s not about getting to a certain destination, it’s about finding connections in your story that can lead to deeper dialogue.” How would thinking this way shape how you use Soularium™ ?
(If you’ve used Soularium™ before, how have you have been more focused on arriving at a specific “destination” rather than on genuinely listening? How could that change?)
3. PRACTICE
Do Soularium™ on yourself. Answer the five questions with a friend or mentor.
After you listen to the other person answer, share with them one thing in their story that connected with your own.
Write down the sample way to “introduce Soularium™ .” Rewrite it, if needed, to reflect how you talk, and practice saying it aloud.
(Hint: You can find much of this in the printed Soularium™ instruction cards as well.)

1. WATCH VIDEO #2
Watch Video 2: “ Soularium™ : Going Deeper” with a friend, mentor or small group.
2. ASK AND DISCUSS
What’s been your biggest challenge in continuing the conversation/transitioning to deeper spiritual conversations after you’ve done the Soularium ™ questions?
How can we be mindful that God is already at work in another person’s story, especially during a Soularium™ conversation?
“Prayer, listening, and preparation are key ingredients to taking a conversation deeper.” Which of these do you find the most challenging?
Have you already done any of the preparation steps they suggest? Which one(s)? (I.e. Do Soularium™ on yourself. Choose 1-3 images that tell the story of your faith journey to Christ. Choose 1-4 images that express the essence of the gospel story.)
Write down the sample transition questions they suggest. (Hint: you’ll find them in the printed Soularium™ instruction cards too.) Which one do you want to memorize and try?
3. SET A DEADLINE
Pick a date by which you agree to have completed the three preparation steps and to meet back together to share what you’ve come up with.
4. PRACTICE
Take turns sharing your faith journey story and the gospel with the images you’ve chosen. Practice on each other using one of the “continuing the conversation” transition questions.
Is there any helpful feedback you can give each other?
