This training is to help equip you as a church/ministry in your efforts to minister wholistically to kids during the after-school hours by offering a mentoring tutoring program that offers a snack, homework help, recreation and Bible time. We will cover topics like: recruiting a team of volunteers/leaders; life-on-life mentoring; classroom management and discipline; framework for your after-school program and curriculum.
This training builds upon the Youth Development 101 training from January 29th. If you did not go through that training, please indicate that in the registration process so we can get you that material as well.
The registration cost is $10/person and can be paid by credit card, check, or cash. This fee covers a training manual and supplies that will be shipped to you if you register by April 1st. If you register the week of the training, you will receive the manual by email. Make sure to follow through the whole registration process including payment.
Training will take place on April 9th from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Central Daylight Time.
