WHO WE ARE
Cru is a Christian evangelism and discipleship ministry passionate about connecting people to Jesus Christ. For 75 years, Cru has faithfully pursued the Great Commission, journeying with people as they take their next best step toward Jesus.
HOW WE STARTED
Bill and Vonette Bright founded Cru as "Campus Crusade for Christ" in 1951 on the University of California, Los Angeles campus. Since then, Cru has become one of the largest Christian organizations in the world, with more than 16,000 team members serving in 190 countries.

OUR MINISTRIES
Cru offers spiritual guidance, resources and programs tailored for people from all cultures in every season of life. The ministry’s work includes outreach to students, families, inner-city residents, people with humanitarian needs, sports professionals, military personnel and the next generation of Christian leaders.
Cru has a campus ministry presence in 152 countries and actively engages more than 53,600 students and faculty on more than 750 U.S. high school and college campuses.
Cru’s city ministry serves in more than 362 cities, partnering with churches and organizations to mobilize Christ followers who share God’s love throughout their communities.
Marriage and family outreaches reach 18 million people annually in 95 countries through conferences, broadcasts and resources.
Athletic ministry operates in more than 90 countries, on 225 U.S. college campuses and with 35 U.S. professional sports teams, along with producing sports media that touches an estimated 100 million lives annually.
Ministry teams serve 56 military installations in the U.S. and in more than 35 countries around the world.
The JESUS film has been shown in every country around the world and translated into more than 2,249 languages. To date, Jesus Film Project has contributed to more than 600 million estimated decisions for Christ.
