Long-Term Opportunities
Is God is calling you to serve Him as a full time international missionary with Cru?
The first step is to gain some experience with one of our Cru ministries. This will help you learn more about our teams and what it is like to engage in sharing the gospel and discipling others. You can volunteer, go on a short term mission, or connect with one of our ministries in your city.
We also strongly recommend that you go on an international internship for a year to the country you are interested in.
Once you have engaged with one of our Cru ministries, you’ll fill out an application to be a Full Time Staff Member. Once you are accepted, you'll attend a New Staff Training conference held in Jan/Feb, May, June/July, or September, to learn the essentials of our mission and receive training to develop your financial support team. You’ll also be assigned to an international team.
When you have completed raising your financial support, you, or your family together, will attend cross-cultural training in June. If you are married with children, Cru has a ministry to and with your kids, starting at the cross-cultural training.
After the training, you will be ready join your international team, and begin building spiritual movements as a full time international missionary.
