Sharing Jesus at 36,000 Feet

Ken was traveling by plane to Albania and sat next to a man who was fasting for Ramadan, a month-long Muslim holiday celebrating the revelation of their holy book to their primary prophet. Observers fast from dawn to sunset from food and drink.

The two men had an engaging and friendly conversation for over an hour and talked about the Qur’an (Muslim holy book) and the gospel. Ken pulled out the GodTools® app and showed the man how to know God personally in both Arabic and English through the tool. Ken watched as the man went through every screen right to left reading both the Arabic and the English.

During the flight, two passengers sitting on either side of the conversation watched Ken share with the man. Those two also wanted to know about the GodTools app. They were privately cheering Ken on.

Ken later heard from one of the passengers: “I was praying intently while you were speaking to him for the Holy Spirit to move and act in his heart.... It was my first time to hear that on an airplane, and it inspired me. I was in awe of your boldness and also your kindness. This blessed me so! See you in heaven!”

Through Ken’s willingness to listen to the Holy Spirit, not only did one person hear the gospel, but two Christians were able to take steps of faith as well.
