Five Generations of Multiplication
At 83 years old, Ben Goldsmith shows no signs of slowing down. A full-time missionary with Cru® Church Movements in Jacksonville, Florida, Ben radiates the kind of joy and faith that only comes from decades of walking closely with Jesus. His smile tells the story — five decades of ministry and still multiplying. But even after all those years, something newis happening.
Working with Cru Church Movements, Ben embraced a fresh, Spirit-led approach to multiplying disciples, leaders and churches. The simple, relational tools became the spark for a new wave of multiplication. “In 50 years of full-time ministry,” Ben shares, “this is the first time I’ve seen five generations of disciple-making in my own discipleship chain.”
As of 2025, Ben is partnering with 14 churches to make disciples, and he’s boldly trusting God for 90 churches by 2026.
Through Cru Church Movements, leaders like Ben are helping churches not just grow — but reproduce, reaching neighborh oods, workplaces, and entire cities with the gospel.
