THE PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICE OF SPIRITUAL LEADERSHIP
As Cru’s Vice President for Global Leadership and Development, Andrea Buczynki has spent a considerable portion of her life giving, observing, and teaching leadership.
In this Critical Concept, Andrea provides an explanation and overview of the roles and responsibilities of a leader that are the foundation of our ministry’s leadership model. She then goes on to consider leadership through the matrix of time and how God develops leaders through a life-long process.
Finally, Andrea takes these concepts of leadership and considers what difference spiritual growth and maturity makes, providing a clear understanding of what it means to be a spiritual leader, Nehemiah serving as a godly example. Very practical, very helpful, and very insightful. (Downloadable PDF only.)
"In the days when television was a luxury we could not afford, we would sit on the linoleum floor around my great-grandmother’s rocking chair and listen to her tell stories..."
As a child, I thought I needed to be nice so people would like me. I thought that was love. But you know what? That is not the way God sees it. Laying aside my rights doesn’t mean pleasing others. This discovery has been critical to my life and leadership.
A short interview with Andrea Buczynski, Vice President of Global Leadership Development of Cru. We’ll be discussing what it means to be a selfless, spiritual leader.
