Ministry in the "Med" will feel like home. As Latinos, God has given us the gift of a culture that blends well with the culture in this location. We also tend to look very similar to the people who live here. These things open the door for us to share the good news of the Gospel without some of the cultural barriers others experience in this location.
Even though less than 1% of this population believes in Jesus, the relational and hospitable people make it easy to build friendships. In those relationships, you will be able to share your faith with this community-oriented culture. In fact, it’s not uncommon to spend hours at a friend's home, sharing food and meeting family. Despite the many barriers to ministry and belief in Jesus, God’s Spirit is bringing students into relationship with him.
