East Asia is where ancient civilization meets cutting-edge technology. This roughly 4,000-year-old civilization has seen rapid economic growth, creating a thriving middle class who uses technological advancements that impact every facet of daily life. But while money and technology dramatically improved the quality of life, it simultaneously birthed a generation of 50 million college students grasping for meaning and purpose in all the wrong places. The East Asian church has asked the US Campus Ministry to “please come help us reach these students”. While learning the language and culture of this rich place, you will have the opportunity to trust God to launch new ministries on college campuses in megacities where little to no known ministry is currently happening!
