Mongolia, once at the heart of the largest Empire on earth, is a land with rich history and rugged beauty. It is a land of striking contrasts, where ancient nomadic traditions coexist with rapid urban modernization, particularly its capital city, Ulaanbaatar. With deep cultural roots in Buddhism, Shamanism, and Communist Atheism, this newly democratic country remains largely unreached with the gospel. While Christianity is a minority faith at this point, there is a rapidly growing openness among younger generations to explore spiritual truth. While serving here, you will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with Mongolian students, share the gospel on campuses across the city, and work alongside national staff and student leaders in a nation in the midst of spiritual transformation.
