You Have

Based on your answers, you value having purpose. That’s a big part of where you find your identity.

We often try to figure out who we are based on what others say about us, what we can do or how we feel.

If we have nice things, if we’re talented, if we have a lot of friends or are successful, then it feels like our lives have meaning.

But what happens if those things change? If we fail or mess up?

God knows EVERYTHING about you and He loves you. He invites you to be a part of changing the world for the better.

We believe knowing God is how we experience real love and find purpose for our lives.

Because of Jesus, you are:

Created for God

Colossians 1:16 (NIV)

For in Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him and for Him.

Commanded to Love

Matthew 22:36-40 (NIV)

“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”

To Do Good

Ephesians 2:10 (NIV)

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

To Become Like Him

Romans 8:28-29 (NIV)

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. For those God foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

To Tell Others About Him

Matthew 28:18-20 (NLT)

Jesus came and told His disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Given Gifts to Help Others

1 Corinthians 12:7-8,27 (NLT)

A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other. To one person the Spirit gives the ability to give wise advice; to another the same Spirit gives a message of special knowledge. ... All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it.

Knowing who you are and why you are here changes both the way you live and how you impact the world.
