Cru Marks 75 Years of Faithfulness
Invites Global Community to Celebrate and Join the Unfolding Mission
ORLANDO, Fla. — Cru (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ) is commemorating its 75th anniversary, marking seven and a half decades of honoring God’s faithfulness, celebrating transformed lives and trusting Him for the future. This anniversary is a time to praise a faithful Savior and to invite alumni, partners, and communities worldwide to reconnect and prayerfully join the mission for the next 75 years.
"As we trust Jesus for His great mission together, we don’t celebrate a ministry, but rather our faithful Savior," said Cru President David Robbins. "More than a milestone, we want to reflect on His work across generations and prayerfully seek His hand for what lies ahead."
Since its founding in 1951, Cru has grown from a single-campus movement into a global outreach that connects people to Jesus Christ. To celebrate this milestone, Cru is launching several initiatives designed to inspire, unite, and engage partners and supporters in the mission of sharing the gospel:
Interactive 75th Anniversary Site: Featuring inspiring stories of impact, historical highlights, ministry updates, and media content highlighting God’s work through the decades.
75-Day Prayer Challenge: A call to intentional, global prayer. Supporters, teams, and local communities are invited to join 75 days of prayer, alongside a dedicated 40-Day Prayer Chain hosted by Cru’s Campus Ministry.
Commemorative Resources: Specialized digital and print media assets, including official brand assets and media catalogs, designed for staff and partners to share the story within their local communities.
Cru invites anyone who has been part of the movement—whether as a student, volunteer, partner, or staff member—to reconnect and participate in the ongoing story of faith.
