Macedonia's ethnic diversity dominates its political and social existence, and pluralism resembles segregation more than harmony. The Macedonian Orthodox Church claims to be shepherd to the majority of the population, but the churches remain largely empty. The Orthodox Church often actively opposes evangelical or evangelistic ministry. 

Being Macedonian Matters
