NEXT will begin with a 40-minute zoom call on Monday, June 1 at 9 p.m. EDT.
INTERACTIVE WEBINARS WITH THOUGHT LEADERS
Participate in three 40-minute webinars with Christian thought leaders about life, work and faith beyond college. Each webinar will have Q&A time for you to engage with the speaker.
Each weekday as your journey through NEXT, you will receive an email or text with a NEXT STEP. These next steps will be prompts for reflection or application to deepen your experience during NEXT.
You will receive a 30-minute coaching session with a business or ministry professional. Your coach will help you develop a plan for a purposeful transition.

Your guides through NEXT
Vivian Mabuni is a national speaker and author with a passion to disciple leaders who will love God and influence the college campus, families, communities, and the world to help spread the flourishing of God's kingdom in every place. A graduate from the University of Colorado with a degree in Marketing, Vivian is currently working on her MA in Bible Exposition at Talbot Seminary. With 31 years serving on staff with Cru, Viv loves teaching about the Bible and practical application to ministry and life. Author of "Warrior In Pink" and "Open Hands, Willing Heart," and host of the brand new podcast "Someday Is Here," Viv loves drinking coffee with her husband of 28 years, Darrin, and marveling at their three young adult kids.
Walter R. Strickland II
Faith & Work
Born in Chicago and raised in Southern California, Walter’s passion is to equip people to flourish in their context from a deep commitment to God’s design. Dr. Walter Strickland serves as Associate VP for Kingdom Diversity Initiatives & Assistant Professor of Systematic and Contextual Theology and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. Walter has co-authored a number of books including Every Waking Hour: An Introduction to Work and Vocation for Christians, Removing the Stain of Racism, and The Mission: Making Disciples.
Chad & Bekah Stewart
Community & Mission
Chad and Bekah have been helping 20-Somethings navigate life, faith and their work for over a decade. Chad works with Cru Embark in Denver, Cru’s ministry to post grad 20-Somethings in cities. Bekah is the Pastor of Spiritual Formation at Denver Community Church. They are also LifePlan guides, facilitating a 2-day process to help clients uncover their vocational calling. Bekah has a masters degree from Denver Seminary in Christian Formation and Soul Care. Chad has an MBA from Bakke Graduate University. They have two kids and reside in the Virginia Village neighborhood in Denver.

As a New York City native, Michelle is passionate about uncovering what is lovely within city culture, and seeing people walk boldly in who God has created them to be. She lives out that passion by serving as a Director for Cru NYC City Embark. Having held previous positions in Marketing, Investment Banking, Media Consulting, and Fashion, Michelle loves having faith + work conversations and helping twenty-somethings discover how to build a vocational story in line with the Gospel.
