Dink for Impact

Sports can be an avenue of spiritual connection. More than winning sports games, we aim to win lives for Christ.

From February 28 to March 1, 2026, Athlete in Action conducted a pickleball tournament called Dink for Impact. God’s favor was upon the whole team as they saw how God provided and worked to use this event in sharing the gospel with the players and attendees. 80 participants joined the tournament, mostly young professionals whom they had been praying to connect with. Unforgettable moments were shared with each participant, and meaningful conversations were created during break time. These conversations bridged stories to each other, where Jesus could break through to the players. 

Participants shared their sentiments on how they felt about the hospitality during the whole tournament. They were welcomed and appreciated all throughout the event, and received participant kits which included sugar rush, paddle care items, and evangelistic tracts. These things were with the intention of opening doors for spiritual conversation and to plant the seed of the gospel in their soul. Every part of the whole tournament was knitted all for the glory of God. The motive of the event was to share the gospel with every attendee.

This story is God’s constant assurance that when we allow Him to build His movement in a certain avenue, He is able to extend His power and love to those who seek and open their eyes for Him. The gospel is always relevant because it gives hope, peace, and salvation to everyone. We will never make an impact unless we say yes to our calling and divine purpose. 

We know that the greatest victory one can have is the salvation Jesus gives. Let us continue to pray and actively share God with others!
