Beyond language, Beyond borders

CRU Philippines and the Korean CCC Missionary hybrid team have collaborated to impact the campus and to build a genuine fellowship with one another. 

On July 9, 2026, CRU Mapua and the Korean CCC Missionary hybrid team had a party fellowship in Intramuros, Manila, where they were able to strengthen their relationship and learn more about the CRU movement in the Philippines. The Korean CCC team and CRU Mapua also managed to create a booth known as the "Cookie Project booth” in order to demonstrate God's love to the students. Highlights of their booth included mini games, freebies, and an introduction to what we do at CRU. By God's grace, a large number of students came to their station, and they were able to share Jesus' boundless love with the youth.

Another collaboration also happened between CRU Southern Mindanao and the Korean team. They launched a free Korean class from July 14 to July 16 of 2026, where they learned about the language and culture of Korea, but most importantly, to connect with people so that they may also know Jesus. The team also hosted a Korean food party on July 17, 2026, with the desire of not just finding good food, but also making new friends with one another.

Jesus desires that His followers will be connected and united as His body, reaching out to the campus and the nations. It is truly by His goodness that He allowed such opportunities for each team to share the gospel, especially to the students. This encounter tells us that God is not just moving here in the Philippines, but is also expanding His kingdom outside the country. Knowing that we have a great number of fellow CRU mates motivates and strengthens our desire to connect to more people. 

It is truly in the name of Jesus that we can go and make disciples of all the nations.
