One will never fully comprehend the sacrifice of Jesus unless he or she dives into His story.
From July 4 to July 24 of 2026, Cru Northern Mindanao launched a 4-week watch party of the Christian series entitled “The Chosen” in hopes that every student may engage in meaningful conversations and reflect on leadership, faith, and purpose. Through the story of Jesus and how He changed the lives of every person He encountered, those who attended were encouraged to grow as leaders and catalysts for a Christian movement in their family, community, and campus.
Throughout the 4-week watch party event, attendees not only watched the series' episodes but also processed what they had seen and discussed what they had realized in each episode. These students have seen and heard how Jesus transformed lives through the series. A community that grows together in knowing God can create a lasting impact not just in their personal relationship with Jesus but also in their connection with one another. Memorable experiences and moments lead to a better journey ahead. The Lord desires His church to have a firm biblical foundation and love for the gospel. Although the watch party has ended, the beginning of their fruitful journey with Jesus starts now.
It is truly a great way to understand the love of the Father for broken people and how Jesus heals us by His stripes. His sacrifice should be our ultimate motivation in sharing His love with others because God wants every person to hear the gospel.
Ultimately, He wants to show His unfailing love to every person who years for healing and restoration.
