God has given followers of Jesus an enormous vision: “Fulfill the Great Commission”. No one Christian organization can accomplish that. We must link arms with others of like mind and like heart. We must trust God to each do what we can and together pray for God to guide and empower us to get it done.
This is what the Connection Weekend at Cru17 is all about. We want to pull together people who have a heart to see the world radically impacted when God’s people work together towards God’s purpose.
We are so pleased this year at Cru17 to host Connection Weekend for our partners who have a heart to see the world radically impacted by partnership in the gospel. Trusting that this will be a time for all of us to grow together and learn from one another, who do you want to learn from? Who do you want to work alongside? Please invite them to sit beside you as co-laborers in Moby Arena this summer.
Who is a partner?
Partners who are willing to share their knowledge with other believers, desire to collaborate in ministry and in life, want to have their hearts refreshed with deep vision, and who are ready to partner locally or globally are invited to Connection Weekend.
Some examples of partners are:
Coaches, pastors, organizations, volunteers, faculty, churches, student staff, community leaders, professors, persons of peace, donors, volunteer parents, like-hearted believers looking for more impact, summer mission participants, community mobilizers, conference speakers…
Collaboration and partnership always lead to greater impact. A world which knows Jesus can only be accomplished through linked arms. Partners who are willing to share their knowledge with other believers, who desire to collaborate in ministry in life, to have their hearts refreshed with deep vision and who are ready to partner locally or globally are invited to Connection Weekend.
What should I expect during the Connection Weekend part of Cru17?
Together we will experience excellent Bible teaching, messages from innovative thought leaders from a variety of organizations, workshops on partnering, networking opportunities to meet other believers passionate about their causes, specialized ministry training, and LOTS of fun celebrating what God is doing in our world today.
