Ghana is an example of how a multi-ethnic and multi-faith nation in West Africa can remain largely at peace. Ghana enjoys both a rich Christian tradition and the emergence of many new churches. The greatest challenge to the Church in Ghana is that millions of Christians attend church but hold to a worldview that reflects traditional animist beliefs more than biblical truth. Scripture translation is a driving force behind recent church growth and discipleship. Every language in Ghana still needing a Bible translation has a work in progress.
