You Are

Based on your answers, you highly value being secure. That’s a big part of where you find your identity.

We often try to figure out who we are based on what others say, who our friends are, how we feel or what we have.

When we look for our value in our own abilities, accomplishments or feelings — which all constantly change — then our ideas about our worth will also constantly change.

But the truth is that God calls you worthy no matter what’s going on around you or how you are feeling. He created you, He loves you and He promises to never leave you.

When you start a relationship with God through Jesus, your identity is forever changed. You are His and He is yours. You don’t have to work or strive to find your security apart from Him because God promises He will work everything out for His glory and your good.

But we don’t always know, or remember, what is true about us.

Because of Jesus, God says you are:

Never Separated From His Love

Romans 8:38-39 (NLT)

Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell … nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Not Guilty

Romans 8:1-2 (NLT)

So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to Him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.

Hidden With Christ

Colossians 3:1,3-4 (NIV)

Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. … For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.

A Citizen of Heaven

Philippians 3:20 (NIV)

But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ …

Confident

Philippians 1:6 (NLT)

And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.

Assured

Romans 8:28 (NIV)

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.

Not only are you secure, but you also belong, have purpose and are known.

Knowing who you are and why you are here changes both the way you live and how you impact the world.

Are you asking questions like:

  • Where do I fit in?
  • What do I really want?
  • Why am I here?

We want to help you.
