Student Congress 2025 gathered 116 student leaders, alumni, and church partners from 20 campuses and four churches across Iloilo, Bacolod City, Capiz, and Aklan. Organized by Cru Western Visayas SLM, the three-day training held from October 31 to November 2 at Goducate Training Center in San Miguel, Iloilo featured three levels of training, devotional messages, and a team-building activity designed to equip students to share the Gospel, conduct follow-up discipleship, and understand their role in a spiritual movement.

This year, Cru Philippines celebrates its 60th Anniversary with the theme "Nations and Generations". We embraced that same theme, with the desire to ignite our vision of reaching nations and generations for Christ, while empowering delegates in their vital role in this mission to impact their campuses and circle of influence for Him in season and out of season.

This year's Leadership Training Conference can be encapsulated by those two phrases. For many years, we held LTC every December, but this time, we reverted to our former October schedule. It was a step of faith because holding it then would mean two months less of preparations, a definite leap to the unfamiliar, and a challenge to believe for a quick inflow of registrants. But where God's plan is involved, He shows up. And He did, faithfully.

We praise the Lord for the successful Mission Conference held last October 30–November 1, 2025, which gathered 160 delegates from Albay, Camarines Sur, and Sorsogon. Among them were 75 direct disciples and alumni, 70 church partners, and 15 missionaries (full-time, associate, and interns). The theme of this year’s conference, “Nations and Generations,” aligns with Cru Philippines’ 60th anniversary and reflects the message of Psalm 45:17, which speaks of God’s name being remembered in every generation and honored among the nations.

The Cru Student Summit 2025, held from October 31 to November 2 at Selah Pods Hotel in Pasay City, gathered students from various campuses across Metro Manila and as far Northern Luzon and Southern Tagalog under the inspiring theme “All In! No Holding Back!” With 129 delegates in attendance, the summit became a three-day encounter with God marked by worship, learning, conversations, and life-defining decisions. Students came expecting a conference—but many left with renewed purpose, deeper friendships, and a clearer vision of what it means to follow Jesus in their generation.

I learned so much from the conference, especially in the plenary where we are called to be radical disciples and faithful exiles– returning to the roots of who we are and living radically dependent on God. I was reminded that we walk and work with Him– not merely for Him And this life of surrender opens us to His radical love, guiding, empowering, and equipping us to the fullest.
