Bicol Mission Conference: Nations & Generations

We praise the Lord for the successful Mission Conference held last October 30–November 1, 2025, which gathered 160 delegates from Albay, Camarines Sur, and Sorsogon. Among them were 75 direct disciples and alumni, 70 church partners, and 15 missionaries (full–time, associate, and interns). The theme of this year’s conference, “Nations and Generations,” aligns with Cru Philippines’ 60th anniversary and reflects the message of Psalm 45:17, which speaks of God’s name being remembered in every generation and honored among the nations.

This year’s conference highlighted God’s faithfulness across decades while challenging  this generation to rise with renewed conviction. Each activity shaped us into godly leaders who will stand for righteousness and influence others to do the same. Following the conference, four key outcomes quickly emerged: marriages strengthened, church–planting trainings initiated, practical care for the poor expanded, and disciples were mobilized toward helping fulfill the Great Commission.

Delegates participated in enriching sessions including MC2 Launch Training, MC2 Develop Training, HACK, Kids of Integrity, and Vertical Marriage. Each training provided valuable insights and practical tools for ministry. As a delegate, I was personally amazed at how God used people’s creativity and collaboration to develop tangible solutions for reaching the lost. It was meaningful to share ideas, learn from others, and witness how God multiplies small steps of faith for  significant impact.

The true fruits of the Mission Conference began to unfold after the delegates returned to their communities: several church partners immediately started MC2 Launch training in their local churches, others committed to applying the practical tools from HACK by using the digital space to reach the lost. Amazingly, the Facebook page that was created for the training is already being utilized to communicate with those people who are seeking a safe community.

A number of couples who attended the Vertical Marriage Seminar shared that  the conference was  a reminder to prioritize their relationship with God first and then with their spouses. Experiences were shared, forgiveness was extended, and new rhythms to  show love were established. It was amazing to see couples restoring their intimacy with God and renewing their call to serve together.

Young leaders also expressed that this conference awakened a fresh conviction to live missionally. Some made a commitment to begin intentional discipleship in their campuses, communities and churches. They also shared that they learned the core responsibilities of leaders, which include equipping others to serve, faithfully shepherding Christ’s flock , modeling a Christlike character and lifestyle, and intentionally developing other leaders to carry on the work of ministry.

Ultimately, the impact of the Mission Conference is seen in the renewed hunger for God’s Word, deeper unity among churches, and a shared determination to make Christ known—across nations and generations.
