Faculty Commons Ambassadors

Faculty Commons Ambassadors Day 2025

Are you trying to build lifelong, multiplying disciples who integrate their faith and their major?  Are you trying to launch a ministry in a new audience on campus or a new campus in your scope? Are you trying to gain credibility at a university in your international partnership location? Do you need help with campus access? Are your students asking questions that you struggle to answer?  Movements engaging faculty have been able to address all of these challenges, and more.

We are all stretched thin, teams have shrunk, and it’s hard to give attention to investing in things that we know are important, but don’t seem urgent.

We are here to help

Faculty Commons Ambassadors Day is a one-day learning experience with FC practitioners, getting our best tools and perspective for getting started with faculty in your scope. We offer a springboard of training to bring faculty ministry support, ideas, and best practices to your area of the country. Most expenses are paid for by Faculty Commons. You’ll also receive $500 in an operating budget to use toward faculty discipleship and outreach at your campus.

Who should attend? The Faculty Commons Ambassador experience is a great fit for staff who enjoy pioneering and taking steps of faith. We are looking for people who are curious about faculty (and even graduate students) and willing to step into parts of campus that have been there all along, waiting to be seen and valued.

When? Arrive on Sunday, February 2 by 5pm for dinner together. We will end at 4pm on Monday, February 3rd in time for those attending the leadership gathering to connect with that conference. Others can schedule an evening flight home.

Where? Embassy Suites by Hilton Dallas Hotel & Convention Center (Frisco, TX) – this is the same hotel as the national leadership gathering for TLs and LMDs.

How much does it cost? Up to $200 of travel, all lodging, and all meals at Ambassadors Day are paid for by Faculty Commons.

“My experience at the Faculty Commons Ambassadors Day opened my eyes to the abundant opportunities to connect with faculty at the places where we are already doing ministry. The training itself was immensely practical, the tools exceptional, and the men and women who serve in Faculty Commons incredibly helpful. Now I see that with a little Spirit-filled effort, ministry to professors can go such a long way in changing lives in academia. I highly recommend this training to all of our staff!”
