Michele Davis


Michele Davis is the Director of Content and Communication for Cru’s U.S. National MPD Team and co-hosts The Cru MPD Podcast. She’s also working on an MA in Christian Thought from Bethel University in Minneapolis. She likes to think deeply and laugh loudly. She’s also known to be an unpaid personal shopper and fashion consultant for all of her friends. Michele and her husband Joe live in Columbus, Ohio with their two children, Lucy and Annabelle.

Julie Chang


Julie Chang is passionate about understanding how people tick. Whether at the gym, in line at the grocery store, or outside her front door, you will always find Julie talking to new people and winning them over with her extroverted down to earth personality.  She is a naturally curious  person, a self proclaimed foodie, and a jack of all trades.  Born and raised in Fairbanks,  Alaska Julie has spent a lot of her time traveling the world, and currently resides in Salt Lake City with her 4 year old cat, Talkeetna. 

Melody L. Copenny


Melody L. Copenny is a poet, writer, author, and storyteller living a gospel-centered life. An Atlanta native, she resides in Orlando, FL, and writes to be real, relevant, and reveal. She’s an editor-in-chief, journalist, content strategist, communicator, and cultural competency consultant and facilitator for an international non-profit organization where she covers national and international stories with themes of hope and eternity in mind.

Emma Tautolo


Emma Tautolo has spent the last 12 years on staff with Athletes In Action leading and equipping students and staff in college sports ministry and cultural competency. She has served locally as a part of her church in outward-focused mission and care and is an executive leader with a movement of local churches, called the Surge Network, putting Jesus on display by equipping, reconciling and activating God’s people in Arizona. Emma has her master’s degree in Missional Theology and loves the ocean, pit bulls and 90’s-00’s R&B.

Chris Ghubril


Chris Ghubril serves as the People and Culture Field Director for the West Coast. This role and his bi-cultural Lebanese heritage helped him pioneer the creation of cross-cultural evangelism tools, like Cru’s I Am From cards. He lives in Tucson with his wife Alyssa, four-year-old daughter Norah, and 7 month old son Jude.

Samantha Holland


Samantha Holland started podcasting so she could ask people her endless questions. Besides Created For, she hosts Listener podcast for Cru staff. A native Oregonian, Sam lives in the forest with her family and enjoys walking amongst the fir trees, greeting neighborhood cats and writing poetry on Instagram. she’d love to connect with you there @slholland
