Tanzania is the largest country in East Africa located just south of the equator. It has a tropical climate with some cooler mountainous regions and has the largest concentration of animals per square kilometer in the world, with more than four million wild animals. Tanzania has the tenth largest youth population globally, with sixty-six percent of Tanzanians under the age of 25. Zimbabwe is a landlocked country in South Africa. It is a country rich in natural views, diverse wildlife, and dramatic landscapes, including Victoria Falls, one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World.
Join us in Dar es Salaam and Harare for a great opportunity to connect with and befriend African students. You will have the chance to speak in classrooms, school assemblies, after school outreaches, and connect with students in common areas. It will be a fun time sharing what it’s like to be a high school student in America and learn about Tanzania and Zimbabwe cultures. There will be time to follow up with new believers and come alongside in-country staff to help launch spiritual movements on campus.
On this mission, you may have the chance to help with special training for youth leaders in the area and partner with Filter of Hope to provide access to clean drinking water in this community. Come and build relationships with students and share the life-changing message of the Gospel.
