I’m going to tell you about two machines that give you time.
If you have ever claimed that you are not “into technology,” watch this amazing demonstration of some life-changing technology that functions as a time machine: Click Here .
It reminds me of my favorite quote from Alan Kay about technology: “Technology is anything that was invented after you were born.”
Hans Rosling has demonstrated in this video how technology performs tedious, repetitious tasks to give you time for things that are more important, if not more urgent.
Hopefully you have already heard that Cru has rolled out a new technology this summer that is designed, like the washing machine, to do a tedious, repetitious task for you; a machine to give you time for relationships.
It’s called MissionHub.
MissionHub is designed to automagically enter the contact information of all of your campus surveys. That means you can spend more time talking to people about how amazing Jesus is, and less time doing data entry and database management.
If you're planning to reach your campus this semester and are not already using MissionHub.com, you should stop reading this right now and go there to learn how to use it ( MissionHub ). There is a tutorial right on the home page.
If you are not on staff, you can still go to MissionHub.com and check it out. Contact your staff mentor or go to www.uscm.org and request help to reach your campus.
And to paraphrase Hans Rosling: Thank you Keynote and thank you Todd Gross for building MissionHub. Thank you God for calling us to such meaningful work and giving us good tools to do it.
