Based on your answers, you highly value BELONGING — that’s a big part of where you find your identity.
Often we try to figure out who we are based on what others say, who our friends are, our appearance or what we have.
When we look for our value in outward things, our own abilities or accomplishments, we’re driven to perform and get more so that we can feel we have worth.
But the truth is you already belong. God created you for Himself. He loves you and chose you to be part of His family.
When you start a relationship with God through Jesus, your identity is forever changed. You are His and He is yours. You don’t have to work or strive to be loved and accepted because you already are.
But we don’t always know, or remember, what is true about us.
Because of Jesus, God says you are:

But to all who believed Him and accepted Him, He gave the right to become children of God.

I’m no longer calling you servants because servants don’t understand what their master is thinking and planning. No, I’ve named you friends because I’ve let you in on everything I’ve heard from the Father.

Even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in His eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into His own family by bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ.

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

For He has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of His dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins.

For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority.
Not only do you belong, but you also have purpose and are secure and known.
Knowing who you are and why you are here changes both the way you live and how you impact the world.
