Vivian was 42 and busy balancing her involvement with Epic Movement (Cru’s ministry to Asian Americans) with her everyday priority of parenting well when she received the call no one wants: “You have cancer.” That diagnosis altered not only the trajectory of Vivian’s year, but her entire life, as her suffering deepened her understanding of transparency and biblical community.
