You are going to law school because you want to make a difference in your world. You want your life to count. Perhaps you have wondered how, as a lawyer and a Christian, you can make an impact in society. Consider an internship with Cru and find a place where you can leverage your law training to make an eternal and global difference.
Joining with us for a summer will acquaint you with the tremendous array of issues that affect one of the world’s largest mission organizations. It will also garner you real-life experience in a variety of law disciplines. You will have opportunities to develop professionally and spiritually as you learn alongside peers and seasoned lawyers. This internship will change how you want the Lord to use you in the years to come.
Our interns are a valuable part of the General Counsel’s team, developing document drafting and legal research skills while helping to advise all of Cru’s ministries. The General Counsel’s Office (GCO) works on intellectual property, real estate, international law, corporate law, contracts, tax, immigration, employment and constitutional issues. In addition to developing legal skills, interns are challenged to use their platform as law students and future attorneys to impact others for Christ. Serving a worldwide client, this experience will give you outstanding professional training along with an opportunity to grow spiritually.
This is a non-paid, 8-week internship, but your school may give credit hours for the experience. Cru will provide housing, transportation to and from the internship, and a mentor. You are responsible for local transportation and may raise additional financial support (all gifts are tax-deductible) to cover certain reimbursable expenses.
