Situated on the edge of the Dinaric Alps, Mostar, a city in Bosnia and Herzegovina, is a quaint, beautiful, & welcoming city. The warm & friendly people of Mostar love meeting visitors, and enjoy hanging out interacting at restaurants and coffee shops around town. After centuries of tumultuous history, however, including a civil war from 1992-1995, Mostar is a city in need of hope. The families of university students we are reaching in Mostar, from both Muslim & Catholic backgrounds, have experienced ethnic division and terrible atrocities, and they desperately need the healing and redemption of Jesus that we offer. It is estimated that in this country of 4 million people, only about 700 have a genuine relationship with Christ. How can they hear and be saved unless someone tells them? (Romans 10:14)
