Pay Level: $3,330 monthly

SUMMARY

Build organizational capacity to accelerate spiritual movements everywhere works with Area Financial Leaders along with VP, Operations team and US Financial Services to ensure sound accounting practices for CCC ministries outside of the United States.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide accounting support to all international ministries
    • Write or edit user instructions for common issues and practices as needed.
    • Support global financial software (NetSuite) users with their functional questions and issues
    • Provide on-site training on financial management and/ or use of NetSuite as needed
    • Be familiar with the international financial management practices and policies in order to guide the users in correct practices and procedures.
  • Advise and consult with subsidiaries and ministries concerning financial reporting and coordinates the recording and verification of accounting information
  • Ensure sound accounting practices in international US subsidiaries
    • Review the monthly accounting and reporting data for the international subsidiaries and follow through on issues noted.
    • Work with US financial services team to correctly interpret the data and consolidate it with the US financial information.
    • Assist in the year-end closing process of the international subsidiaries.
  • Ensure financial accuracy between the US financial software and NetSuite
    • Ensure that the systems are adequate and completely and appropriately reflect PeopleSoft data in NetSuite.
    • Ensure that funds flow smoothly to the international ministries
    • Reconcile balances between PeopleSoft and NetSuite.
  • Provide financial services to the international ministries
    • Serve the international ministries with their US-related financial needs (transaction queries, designations, banking needs etc.)
  • Monitor external and internal audits conducted
    • Collect external audit reports from international ministries and follow through on issues raised.
    • Encourage audits are in place where none are conducted.
    • Collect, record, read and summarize internal audit reports from international ministries and follow through on issues raised.

KNOWLEDGE OF:

  • Finance, accounting, auditing, internal controls, financial planning and financial reporting and analysis, including US GAAP and IFRS
  • Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance plus 3 years of similar experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
