The Cru Winter Conference is a wonderful growth, training, and visionary opportunity that will have great benefit to you. This is a good time to help everyone confirm with family and employers to make the arrangements to go.
In order to stay sharp and on track, careful decisions need to be made so that the greatest amount is accomplished for God’s kingdom in your ministry situation as you prepare for the fall semester.
The first six weeks on campus set the tone for the year to come. Whatever ministry will be like for the year, you’ll know by the end of these first weeks.
All times of the academic school year are not equal for planting ministries. The beginning of the semesters, particularly the fall, is the most conducive to starting ministries. This means you really need to be doing groundwork in August and early January to get the most mileage out of the first 6 weeks of the semester.
You’ve sent out e-mails, text messages, plastered the dorms with flyers, called every possible contact you have, all toward a goal of getting as many warm bodies in a room for a Small Group Bible Study.
