Michael and his wife, Dee, have been on staff 26 years after working several years in the public business sector and have served with Cru in a number of capacities.
Michael is the founder and executive director of The Lenses Group, which provides training and development in the areas of cultural proficiency and adaptability for Cru and those outside, both organizations in the sacred and public square.
He is the executive director of Urban Project – International, which provides a global and domestic engagement regarding matters of race, power, culture, and ethnicity. They also employ learning models and strategies that blend community development with personal growth and development.
Michael served as the campus director at USC and was also a ministry leader. He currently serves on the U.S. Leadership team with Cru and is also on the executive team for Athletes in Action.
Michael and Dee are the parents of four sons. Duron is 31 and married to Kaelie, Devin is 27 and is married to Raianna, Darian is 23 and Deon is 13.
