Hope in a Box

Share

Nikki opened her door and recognized a new friend carrying a box of food.

Unemployed and addicted to drugs, Nikki had no money to pay for food. A few nights earlier, she’d met a bubbly woman named Melany at a dinner a local church hosted for the community. Melany cared beyond that single meal and reached out with the box.

Watch what happened when Nikki connected with Melany and a church pastor whose love took action.

Boxes of Love® is an outreach of Cru® Inner City that seeks to show a tangible means of care in a community and build relationships.

A short amount of time to serve can become significant.

“You have moved mountains just by that one hour,” Nikki says.
